I’m diving into this game, Zenless Zone Zero, and wow, first anniversary—can you believe it? I swear, it feels like just yesterday I was trying to remember if “Zenless” was even a real word. So, they’re dropping this Version 2.0 extravaganza, if that’s the right word. Xbox finally joins the party—like, about time, right? And, brace yourself, there’s this whole freebie galore: A free S-Rank Agent and W-Engine. Honestly, I felt like I won a mini-lottery, just not the jackpot kind.
Wait, so, yeah, the actual one-year mark isn’t here yet. But, hey, they’re rolling out the fun early because… tradition, I guess? Six-week schedules and whatnot. Something about aligning events. Seems like a lot of planning—maybe an excuse for a big bash, if you ask me.
Oh, and the game lore, don’t even get me started! Belle and Wise with their retro video store—that’s not a video store. Seems straight out of a quirky Netflix series or something. Escorting Agents through those forbidden Hollows sounds like a job for people more daring than me. I’d probably get lost—or worse, distracted by… the aesthetics or whatever. Is that a thing for anyone else?
Now, they’re stirring things up with new faces: Yixuan and Pan Yinhu. S-Rank and A-Rank, for those keeping score at home. Apparently, Yixuan is the hotshot because of this brand-new Rupture Agent class. I didn’t even know you could still invent combat classes. Really threw me for a loop—and made me think about creating my own class, but that’s, like, dream level.
Oh gosh, there’s a cloud gaming thing now, too. Xbox Series joining the fun. I mean, I’m old-school, but playing games in the cloud sounds wild and a bit… sci-fi? Wasn’t this a kids’ show plot at some point?
The fun twist. Voice actors involved in some squabble. Sounds tough. Actors standing their ground with generative AI woes, and over here I’m just hoping my game doesn’t glitch mid-battle. Half the cast switched out like it’s a musical chairs game. And HoYoverse? Treading carefully, they are—just saying it’s “recording scheduling.” Must be nice to have that card to play.
Anyway, picture this: Yixuan and Astra Yao, in all their event-exclusive glory. If you haven’t peeked at them yet, do yourself a favor. And Pokémon-style card rarity—everybody loves a good chase.
