Wait, so Google might be whipping out some fancy smart glasses at Google I/O? Like, next week? I mean, they gotta be thinking about those Ray-Ban Meta Glasses, right? And, oh, the whole thing sorta came up ’cause Sameer Samat from the Android clan teased something. Dude was wearing these mysterious glasses in a promo—didn’t spill much, just hinted at some “cool Android demos.”
Now, I kinda went all CSI on it—well, more like zoomed in on a screenshot—and it’s got this Ray-Ban vibe. You notice that single camera sensor? It’s chilling right there on the left kinda like it’s spying on everyone innocently. And above that, an LED, maybe letting folks know when it’s snapping pics or vids. Feels like it’s playing catch-up with those Ray-Bans, don’t you think?
The arms—those things are beefy, probably jam-packed with the usual suspects: battery, processors, you name it. Betcha it’s running some fresh Android XR flavor. Oh, and near Sameer’s ear—there’s a slit or something, might be for audio. Or maybe it’s just a button pretending to be important.
Meanwhile, Apple’s lurking in the background, probably sharpening their own pair of glasses. Bloomberg’s whispering about some special processor in the works. Anyway, back to Google I/O, which, oh yeah, kicks off May 20-21. They’ll be streaming keynotes and whatnot, possibly dropping Android XR nuggets. Can’t wait to see how it all goes down—you can catch the keynote live on YouTube, Tuesday, May 20th, 10 AM PT. Mark your calendars or something.
And just check this out: (insert eyebrow raise, because you’ve gotta see it).
