Captain Blood Sets Sail on Nintendo Switch This May

SNEG has finally announced when gamers can get their hands on the much-anticipated adventure game Captain Blood for the Nintendo Switch.

The game was initially set to sail on the Xbox 360 back in 2010. Unfortunately, its journey was abruptly stopped when the publisher went bankrupt. Legal issues further complicated matters, preventing the developers from launching the game on their own. Now, after 15 years, those issues have been ironed out and the game is ready to see the light of day.

In this high-seas adventure, the local magistrate finds himself in a bind when his daughter is kidnapped. Swallowing his pride, he enlists Captain Blood and his fearless crew to save her. As the swashbuckling captain, known for drinking grog and charming maidens throughout the Spanish Main, players embark on a thrilling quest full of cannon battles, pistol duels, intense sword fights, and all sorts of pirate escapades.
