But you got those quirky ones with killer movesets that surprise everyone. Sadly, Pokémon GO, bless its heart, kinda snips out all the complex combat jazz to make it more, uh, quick-and-easy. Like those microwave dinners. Or, um… I dunno, instant ramen? But anyway, yes, they chop out moves, mechanics, Stats, all that jazz. So yeah, some Pokémon like Accelgor, they’re missing their shine, but hey, maybe Pokémon GO could fix that someday. Or not. Who knows.
And, just because it’s funny, can we take a second to imagine how an Accelgor feels about losing its speed carry-on? Right, maybe it’s just me, but I picture it like that one sprinter who’s told they can’t wear their lucky shoes at the big race. Speed, man, it’s that little zing that makes some of these Pokémon sparkle. Running laps around their buddies.
Oh! And what if, you know, in the app, Speed wasn’t just about how fast moves get flung around, but, like, how quickly your buddy Pokémon rakes in Candy while you wander about? Silly thought? Maybe. But a speedy little buddy cutting down the Candy kilometer? Worth a shot, I’d say.

And, while leveling up Speed might shake things up if Pokémon GO ever went wild with it, I’d say we’ve seen crazier things. Mega Evolutions, hi! So if it ever pops into designer radars, well, I’m sure we’ll deal. So maybe adding Speed is a project for the “someday” board, if it lands there at all.
In the end, really, Speed could be that wild card that makes Pokémon GO players grin while their favorite underdog Pokémon finally gets to dance in the spotlight. Like, who wouldn’t want that?
