Ugh, another month rolls in and—whoa, look at that—PlayStation Store’s throwing out more sales. Reminds me of that time I bought way too many games and my backlog became a mountain. Anyway, this time they’ve got something cool if you’re into Marvel. Yeah, I know, everybody likes Marvel.
So here’s the scoop: the Lego Marvel Collection is, like, way cheap now. We’re talking $8.99, down from $59.99. My math isn’t great, but that’s like… a lot off. I think it ends June 5 at 2:59 a.m. ET. Not sure why they picked such a weird time. Probably just to mess with us night owls.
Inside this virtual box of joy, you get three whole games: Lego Marvel Super Heroes, Lego Marvel’s Avengers, and Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2. Plus, all the extra stuff they’ve thrown in with season passes. Apparently, you can wrangle a bunch of characters to smack down Loki and his villain pals before they destroy the world—you know, the usual “save-the-day” stuff.
And they didn’t stop there. You can dive into the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe vibe with Lego Marvel’s Avengers and face off against the time-tweaking Kang in Super Heroes 2. That kind of gives me a headache just thinking about it, but it sounds fun.
When these games first dropped—oh man, that was ages ago, like, 2013, 2016, and 2017—they got some decent feedback. Not that reviews are the be-all and end-all. Trust me, the scores were alright: 80 for one, 71, and then 73. Pretty decent spread.
So yeah, maybe check back sometime; there might be other sweet PS4 and PS5 deals lurking around like forgotten leftovers in your fridge. Who knows?
