So, here’s the deal—Xbox Insiders are in for some changes this week. You know that list of games and apps that just hangs out on your Home screen? Yeah, it’s getting touch-ups. Microsoft’s trying to make everything feel, I dunno, more “you.” Or something like that. It’s like they’ve been listening to feedback—or pretending to, but let’s believe them for now.
What’s New? Or Kinda New…
The list of recently played stuff is getting some nifty tricks. Three to be exact. Or maybe it’s more, who knows, but let’s just talk about the ones they actually mentioned.
-
Hide System Apps… Those boring apps that make things work? You can now hide them. Poof! Gone. Makes your screen look less like a messy room and more like that organized chaos vibe we all aspire to.
-
Pin Favorites to Home… Pick like, three things you’re obsessed with right now. Pin them. They’ll be waiting upfront for you like well-trained dogs—or not, but they’ll be there.
- Reduce Tile Count (Soon-ish!)… A cleaner look is coming, supposedly. Fewer tiles staring back at you. But hold your horses, it’s still in the works.
So these changes are first for the lucky ducks in Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha. You folks get to play with these tweaks before anyone else, and your feedback? Yeah, it’s supposed to steer how stuff turns out.
Why Bother? I Mean, Really
Your Home screen should be your space. Yours. Not cluttered, not annoying, just perfect. Or maybe not perfect, but at least bearable. That’s the idea anyway. Point is, Microsoft is responding, and your feedback matters—at least that’s the story.
Shaping Xbox’s Tomorrow — Sounds Grand, Right?
Big thanks to all the Xbox Insiders out there tossing feedback into the void. Or into Microsoft’s planning, depends how you see it. Need help? Jump on the Xbox Insider subreddit, where official peeps and fans hang out. It’s kinda like a digital town square, minus the cobblestones.
Thinking of joining the Xbox Insider tribe? You get early access to features that might not even work right yet. Sound fun? Download the Xbox Insider Hub on your console or PC. There’s always room for more voices.
For the latest scoop, keep an eye on the Xbox Insider Home. Maybe it’s where the future unfolds—or at least, where they post about it.
