Alright, so here’s a thing I stumbled upon while mindlessly scrolling through Twitch the other day. Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader just kicked off some spiffy Twitch Drop campaign for its latest expansion, Lex Imperialis. The usual bells and whistles—Vox-Whistle, Arbites Handcuffs, and Welded Gloves—nothing groundbreaking, but hey, they’re free! Just watch an hour of Rogue Trader on Twitch. Even if you’re not into the new DLC, you still get the goodies. Why? Beats me.
Anyway, this new Lex Imperialis thing rolled out on June 25. Apparently, it’s the second and last piece for the first Season Pass. There’s a bunch of stuff, like a new Arbitrator origin and a shield you can use with one-handed weapons. Oh, and Solomorne Anthar—a fresh companion, sounds foreboding, doesn’t it? By the way, it’s all about some grimdark antics the Adeptus Arbites are up to. No clue why they always have to be so… imperialist?
Twitch Drops, though. Owlcat Games is tossing out some items inspired by this expansion as Drops. All you gotta do is hitch your Twitch and Rogue Trader accounts together. Just like a twisted digital marriage in the game’s quarters. Follow the clues to open a browser or whatever—then you’re linked. Only works for PC folks, though. No joy for console buddies.
And here’s a quirky bit: even if you don’t have Lex Imperialis, you can still load up on these items. Vox-Whistle talks to the Overseer archetype’s mechanical pets or something. So maybe it’s less fun without the DLC, but it’s still a nifty bauble. Plus, you can grab ‘em in every playthrough. Try out the Dogmatic or Heretic routes next time, maybe?
By now—all that DLC from Rogue Trader’s first Season Pass is live. But wait—Owlcat’s gearing up for more. New season pass, fresh chaos in the form of The Infinite Museion and Processional of the Damned, hitting in June and September of 2026. Who even plans two years ahead? Meanwhile, Warhammer 40K: Dark Heresy’s also lurking in the development shadows. Feels like 40K fans have heaps to look forward to—or dread, depending on how you view the endless 41st millennium gloom.
So there it is, a meandering drift through the latest Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader buzz. Quite a ride, huh?
