EdEN recently had the opportunity to dive into “Sorry We’re Closed,” a unique throwback survival horror game with a quirky storyline from Akupara Games and à la mode games.
Here’s a taste of what we thought:
“Sorry We’re Closed” takes players on a retro-inspired journey full of eccentric and story-rich survival horror elements. You’ll step into the shoes of Michelle, who’s desperately trying to lift a curse placed on her by a love-struck archdemon. As you explore Michelle’s slice of London, you’ll encounter various residents whose lives you can either help or wreak havoc upon. The game will have you juggling time between the physical realm and the demon world as you race to save your soul. Fans of classics like Resident Evil, with its iconic fixed camera perspectives, and the dark, mysterious vibes of Silent Hill, will likely feel right at home with this game.”
