Whoa, okay, so this Kickstarter gig for Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist? Totally bonkers how much cash they grabbed—over $170k! Resolute Games must be stoked. I mean, the whole VR MMORPG thing sounds wild, right? They kicked it off back in June, and bam! Hit that first goal of $25k in, like, an hour and a half. What even?!
Anyway—hold on, got sidetracked—but within a week, they zoom past $100k. Ridiculous! They unlocked all sorts of goodies: bonfire healing (sounds cozy?), more air and earth stuff, new species to play as, you know, the usual MMORPG flair. Even guest access to player housing—because when you’ve got a virtual crib, you want to show it off.
Now, Eldramoor’s supposed to be massive. Like, it’s this huge world with different zones—each with its own vibe and whatnot. Five zones, if we’re counting. Loads to discover, meet people/creatures, pick up treasures…you get it. But if you just stick to the path—nope, half the fun’s gone! So yeah, explore or whatever. Run, climb, glide? It’s all there.
Side note: Resolute Games describes this whole thing as a social deal. Like, it’s about hanging out with friends (or randoms, I guess). Joining guilds, diving into dungeons, PvP madness. Oh, and special events! Multiplayer for days. And there’s this bonfire system—I’m imagining marshmallows, though, probably not it.
Honestly, ambition like this doesn’t just grow on trees. Money definitely helps, but gotta wonder if they’re scouting more funding elsewhere. Launching next year and all, right? Keeping the team going must need some serious capital. December 2026, that’s when backers can expect their virtual world fix. Quest 3 and SteamVR lovers, take note!
If you’re curious, check it out on Steam or maybe dive into their Kickstarter updates. They’ve wrapped up there, but who knows what crazy stuff they’ll pull off next?
