Wow, so apparently Capcom is at it again. It’s that time when they decide to throw a bunch of game stuff our way. You know, like how they talked about Resident Evil: Requiem not too long ago? And Pragmata – which, let’s be honest, I kinda thought was never gonna see the light of day again. But hey, surprise!
So, there’s this thing called Capcom Spotlight happening, and I guess it’s where they unpack everything they teased us with at the Summer Game Fest. Almost like getting the full meal after just getting the appetizer? At least that’s what they say.
Let’s talk line-up! They promised to chat about all the stuff from Summer Game Fest. Heard Monster Hunter Wild’s update is in the mix, too. Title Update 2? What’s with these names? It’s dropping soon – this month, supposedly – and I expect they’re gonna spill the beans on all that.
Street Fighter 6 is in there as well. They’re deep diving into the Year 3 roster. Sagat, C. Viper, Alex, Ingrid – they’ve got the lot. Sagat might even get a proper date. Fingers crossed.
Back to Pragmata, the game that rose from the dead. How’d they pull that off? Who knows. But they’ve got gameplay out and a 2026 target. Playable at Summer Game Fest, apparently. Fingers crossed we catch some of that demo and a little developer chinwag tonight.
Every eyeball is on Resident Evil Requiem though, no kidding. The last tease left us with more questions than answers. What’s even going on in this game? Journalists saw a demo – yep – hope they let us in on it too. Lots of hush-hush around the 9th part of this horror saga, which is, let’s face it, exactly how they like it.
Mark those clocks: Capcom Spotlight’s a 40-min gig happening today at 3pm PT, 6pm ET, and 11pm BST. Plenty of spots to catch it live – YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, TikTok – they’ve got streams everywhere.
So yeah, grab some popcorn, maybe. It’s one of those nights.
