Eighteen hours straight of playing. Eighteen! I can’t even focus on anything for more than a few hours before my brain starts doing cartwheels.
Just think about that dedication. Six years to pull this off, averaging 456 levels a day. It’s wild! And yeah, DSteves is sitting pretty at the top of the leaderboard. Imagine the second-place person, only 834,437? DSteves left them in the dust.
People went nuts over this. Comments calling it a “legendary” achievement were everywhere. Even if DSteves drops the game now, they’d still be a legend in the community. But nope, they’re not stopping – they hit 1,000,050 completed levels just after.
And speaking of dedication, there was a time when fans of the original Super Mario Maker got together when the servers were about to go dark. Whole bunches of these levels hadn’t even been cleared yet. Enter Team 0, who went ahead and tackled them all. It was a major grind — like 40,000 courses in half a year.
