You pick a “Life” — or a job if we’re gonna be boring about it — and suddenly, you’re racing through eras past, practically grabbing your future with both hands. Or something like that. I dunno, maybe I’m overthinking it?

Jumping into the details the publishers teased — or did they just blurt it all out? You can morph your avatar, get into loads of different “Lives” and, oh, build your eye-popping city. Time travel’s a big deal here, too. The past? It’s like it’s on a discount! You gather resources from a thousand years ago to spruce up your pad today. Kinda backwards but intriguing.

And multiplayer? Heck yeah, bring along some buddies. Do resource quests together, I guess. Am I the only one who wonders what “Strangelings” are? Apparently, they’re these creepy yet fascinating relics with spirits in them. But hey, figure them out, and maybe you save some lost souls. Or not. Your call.

Push the pause button on life, venture around the island, solve mysteries, face dangers — the works. This adventure’s giving me roller coaster vibes without the safety harness. Thrilling or terrifying? Hard to say.
