Elden Ring Nightreign servers are up and running again. They were down for a bit today, but they’re back with some updates. FromSoftware pushed out this pretty big patch, and, yeah, solo players might appreciate it a bunch.
So, we’re on Update 1.01.1 — spreads across all the platforms. Let’s just dive into what they changed, yeah?
When Nightreign first popped up, folks were griping about how tough it was for solo players. Like, sure, it’s supposed to be trio-friendly, but solo players were feeling left out. So, FromSoftware promised tweaks. And guess what? Instead of waiting for the mega patch 1.02, some changes slipped through to today’s patch. Surprise!
Now, if you’re flying solo, you get a one-time free revival each night boss battle. Sounds fair, right? You used to have to earn this, but not for solo runs anymore. Also, they’ve tweaked rune acquisition for solo gamers. Maybe they’re thinking, “Hey, you guys could use a bit more help without your buddies.”
For the groupies out there, Day 3 of those Expeditions is now juiced up — more high-rarity Relics! Plus, grabbing these Relics from those Scenic Flat stones? Way easier now. You can snag them at the Small Jar Bazaar. (Why a jar bazaar? Who comes up with these names?)
Jumping off the balance beam for a sec, there’s a whole pile of bug fixes. They tweaked the dizzying camera with Wings of Salvation — thank goodness, no more unexpected nausea. And there’s a laundry list of skill corrections and some graphics stuff. If you’re into details, there’s a big ol’ patch note list below.
### Bug Fixes
– Camera’s smoother when you unleash the Guardian’s Wings of Salvation.
– Duchess’s skill “Restage” bug fixed so it actually shows stuff.
– The Raiders’ damage is tamed. (Sorry, Greataxe lovers!)
– Killing “Those Who Live in Death”? Now they stay down, thanks to “Sacred Blade.”
– They finally sorted the “Bleeding” from “Bloody Slash.” Took long enough, right?
– “Ghostflame Ignition” bug? Squashed.
– “Frostbite” now builds up as it should with the “Moonlight Greatsword.” Better late than never.
– “Mighty Shot” and “Enchanted Shot”? They sped those arrows right up.
– “Rock Sling” was super long-ranged. Fixed! No more sniping from miles away.
– “Black Blade” wasn’t shrinking enemy HP like it should. Now it does.
– Passive Effect stacking issue? Sorted. No more infinite invincibility.
– Some Passive Effects weren’t showing up right. Now they’re crystal.
– Guardian Relics’ Special Effects were sometimes bunk. Not anymore.
– Rewards and items were getting lost. Now they show up where they should.
– Fiddly enemy attacks and graphics glitches? Tweaked.
### Steam-only Fixes
– Graphics go wonky on “Low” settings? Cleared up.
– Keyboard climb working better. Also a nudge for gamepad users.
Anyway, if you’re hooked on this game, don’t forget our handy Elden Ring Nightreign guide. It’s packed with character builds, walkthroughs, and rankings. Totally random side note: the frying pan in my kitchen sounds like a monster growl when it cools down after dinner. Weird, right? But, yeah, game guides. Check ’em out.
Okay, back to… whatever I was saying. Keep persisting, enjoy those patches, and, honestly, try not to die too much out there.
